(New York, N.Y.) - Under the signature neon signs of Broadway in the center of Manhattan's bustling crossroads, U.S. senior trampoline national team member Steven Gluckstein soared into the air in the middle of Times Square.  Trampoline was featured on two shows of ABC's "Good Morning America" as part of its "Battle of the GMA Anchors." Gluckstein, the 2009 Winter Classic and U.S. Elite Challenge trampoline champion of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., performed trampoline skills for the crowd and demonstrated the skills the show's anchors would perform in the "battle." Gluckstein and his coach Tatiana Kovaleva from Head over Heels helped train anchors Diane Sawyer, Robin Roberts, Chris Cuomo and Sam Champion for their on-air "Battle" in a live segment on Monday, May 11, instructing the anchors on the proper art of the bounce.  On the following Friday, he started the anchor's challenge by performing the required trampoline routine to the participants, which included four components - judge's salute, a tuck jump, straddle jump and seat drop to a standing position. The team of Sawyer and Cuomo won the trampoline competition with a total score of 16.  Despite a slight wobble and an off-center landing, Sawyer scored an event high 9 with high jumps and a wide toe touch. Video from the segment is available at http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=7594958 and http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=7555829.
